YEG Cosplay Garage Sale
A one day cosplayer event is coming to Edmonton August 2nd. Cosplayers and Local Brands will be on site selling pre-owned and new outfits, supplies, accessories, and props.
Join us for specific group meetups, photo opportunities, networking opportunities, and of course – shop sustainably from other local cosplayers and brands for your next con-ready fit!
Let’s make this event a fantastic celebration of creativity and community at the Bonnie Doon Community Hall from 11-4pm August 2nd.
YYC Cosplay Garage Sale: The Reboot
Let’s try this again, Calgary! I’ve booked a larger venue and broadened the scope of vendors who can apply. The main emphasis will still be on pre-owned and new cosplay goods, and I’ve expanded to include pre-loved geeky collectibles.
Join us for this one day pop up event, on October 19, to find cosplay enthusiasts selling new/used outfits, supplies, accessories, and props. Check out the expanded collectible vendors to find new/used figures, books, manga, anime, movies, fandom merch, and more!
Vendor Note: Small businesses that do NOT have a storefront and are local may be accepted if they fit the category of Cosplay or Collector, but second-hand sellers will be given priority.
Sherwood Park Highland Gathering
With great excitement, Geeky Markets & Events Inc. will be joining forces with Sherwood Park Highlands Gathering to create a spectacular event this July. While Alycia has been running her own markets for 5+ years, she is branching out as an Event Coordinator and will be focusing on creating a vendor area that is geared towards the Scottish Highlands theme, but also allowing for a diverse and local group of makers to join as well. We can’t wait to see everyone this summer!

I’m Alycia and I am the sole owner and operator of Geeky Markets & Events Inc. I have now been running these markets for about 4 years. They started off as friends putting on a small market in hopes of being able to make some sales before the larger Expos re-opened after Covid, to more than 5 markets in a year and slowly growing. As I am a vendor myself with a separate small business, I understand both sides of the market business and do my best to ensure vendors are being fairly charged, as well as good marketing completed every market. I learn and grow and look forward to every market I put on!
