I’m Alycia and I am the sole owner and operator of Geeky Markets & Events Inc. I have now been running these markets for about 4 years. They started off as friends putting on a small market in hopes of being able to make some sales before the larger Expos re-opened after Covid, to more than 5 markets in a year and slowly growing. As I am a vendor myself with a separate small business, I understand both sides of the market business and do my best to ensure vendors are being fairly charged, as well as good marketing completed every market. I learn and grow and look forward to every market I put on!

Free parking and Entry by Donation AARCS! ARRCS! ARRCS is a local pet recue that will have volunteers greeting you at the door to take donations for entry. They are also going to be bringing some adoptable pets for you to view! There will be a wristband that will get you re-entry for both days.
The theme of the wares at this market are (but not limited to): Spooky, Horror, Anime, Fandoms, Geeky, and more! No MLM’s, this is a craft and small local business market for your shopping pleasure! From décor and art, to sweats and treats, this market is going to be jam packed with fun! And as always, cosplay is welcome!

This market is in it’s 4th year and moving to Edmonton Expo Centre Hall F!
Over 200 vendors with gift options from small and local businesses that cater to the geeky, weird, wonderful, alternative, and more! This is not a traditional market in any sense. An Artist Alley for the art lovers in your life, or yourself. K-Pop, J-Pop, Alternative fashion, Wiccan, Witch, Viking, LGBTQ+, and a safe place to just be yourself!
There will be a community area with photo opportunities from The Alberta Ghost Busters, Mandalorian Mercs, The Rebel Legion, 501’s, and more to be announced!
Cosplayers, this market is also for you! Come in cosplay or street clothes, strut that cosplay you worked so hard on and enjoy a welcoming and community feel.
Calgary Holiday Geeky Gift Market
Calgary, you asked and here we are! The previous location wasn’t big enough and the amount of vendors will be more than double! BMO Centre in Hall D!
There is going to be over 200 vendors, a community corner, artist alley, and so much more! With vendors being small and local, come check out the amazing selection for those geeks, nerds, weird, wonderful, and alternative people on your gift list! Or come shopping for yourself! The choice is yours!
Cosplay is welcome and encouraged!
There will be a small door fee of $5 per person, 12 and under are free. Plans for tickets to be sold online as well at the door are on the horizon and should be out by beginning of October.
Edmonton Holiday Gift Market
This Holiday season come and get your gift giving and holiday décor on! With over 80 vendors, a lemonade stand, and more to be announced this is a well planned and diverse market. All of the vendors will be small business and/or local crafters selling their gifting, tasty, ,and seasonal wares! No MLM’s will be present at this market.
Free parking. Donation by entry to The Foodbank is also just in time for the holiday season. Come shop and raise some money/food for the community all at once!
As always this is a safe space for all and diversity is strived for!
